Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Health & Wellness, the Nursing Home Administrator leads and directs the overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and company policies so as to maintain excellent care for the residents.
Essential Functions Include:
Assist the VP of Health & Wellness in maintaining licensure and certification of the Community; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain positive relationship with representatives of government agencies who survey and inspect the Community.
Develops, establishes, and maintains resident census at optimal levels.
Ensure that corporate compliance and HIPAA directives are implemented and monitored.
Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, and administrative staff and services.
Minimum of two to three years of management experience in health care or life care community environment is required.
An active and/or eligible Nursing Home Administrator license in Tennessee
Experience in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.
A thorough understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the Community.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of different types of groups including residents, family members, staff, Board of Directors, community groups, government agencies, etc.
