Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE Senior Director, Quality and Experience to join our WPMG HQ team in Renton, Washington.

The Senior Director of Quality and Experience is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight in achieving WPMG's quality and experience goals. The Senior Director will work in partnership with Medical Directors, physician champions as well as system-wide relationships within WPMG and KFHP/W to proactively build processes and measurement to ensure alignment and implementation of enterprise strategies and goals, with respect to quality of care and consumer experience. The Senior Director will integrate enterprise efforts across various departments (Managed Care, Information Technology, Balanced Scorecard, Clinical Informatics, and Operations) to improve on WPMG's performance on patient's health outcomes and experience (i.e., HEDIS/CMS Star, CAHPS, Press Ganey).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with Senior Medical Directors for Quality and Member Experience to identify quality of care and experience issues, facilitating partnership in coordinating enterprise approach to these issues.
Participate in strategic planning in anticipating market needs and develop innovative responses to address future needs.
Collaborates with other Operational and Administrative functional teams in the development and deployment of initiatives and tactics to improve the consumer experience.
Lead a team with overall oversight of quality programs and member experience and direct oversight of partnership with informatics.
Responsible for oversight of development methods for data collection and extracts data as required.
Measuring and evaluating data to determine the ultimate impact of the programs on both the medical operations and the health of patients.
Monitor the tracking and trending of relevant patients/population/conditions that support the clinical and care management of those patients.
Monitor the tracking and trending of relevant patient experience scores (Press Ganey) with detailed focus to provider driven scoring.
Assisting in the effort to develop the technology infrastructure needed to support quality and experience improvement programs.
Monitor health plan data and coordinate efforts to improve health plan tracked KPI's as it relates to Memorandum of Understanding.
