This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more Duties include but not limited to: Responsible for scheduling the following cardiology outpatient procedures: transesophageal echo, dobutamine stress echo, cardioversion, pacemaker/ICD and loop recorder implants, cardiac cath and PCI procedures Assists with outpatient admission for dofetilide & sotalol. Assists veterans with beneficiary travel and lodging accommodations. Assists in the following: picking up TEE probes from SPD and sending expired probes to Decon, assist with obtaining vital signs for clinic patients, perform EKG's as needed, request and scan cardiology records to CPRS, request and load outside cardiac images to Xcelera, fax VA records and mail cardiac images to UWMC Heart Institute for TAVR, LAAO referrals. Requires frequent face to face and phone interaction with patients, cardiology staff (physicians, nurses, general cardiology staff. Documents activities in EMHR notes Assists with procedural orders in CPRS. Sends info to patient regrading scheduling and procedural information.
