You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides strategic financial leadership by establishing performance benchmarks and accountabilities for Post-Acute Care business units and strategies, including (Inpatient Rehabilitation, AH Home Care, AH Hospice of the Comforter, AH Home Infusion, AH Respiratory & Equipment) ensuring revenue integrity, expense management, and overall operational efficiency. All undertaken to improve business unit financial performance and sustainability, and to support the AH need for robust Post-Acute Care access for patients.
Support Vice President of Finance for Population Health and Post-Acute Care and associated budget.
Oversee AH Hospice of the Comforter Finance Manager, responsible for all accounting, financial planning, budgeting, capital planning, revenue cycle, and payor contracting for the net revenue business.
Oversee AH Home Care Joint Venture, responsible for all accounting, financial planning, budgeting, capital planning, revenue cycle, and payor contracting for the net revenue business.
Provide financial oversight to Inpatient Rehabilitation. Guides financial due diligence for free-standing facility.
What You Will Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelorâ™s degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration or finance related field
Five (5) years of healthcare experience
Three (3) years of healthcare management experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Masterâ™s degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration or finance related field
Previous experience in post-acute healthcare management
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar financial management certification
The Director of Finance, reports to the Vice President, and serves as the Finance Officer responsible for the financial management strategy of the and Post-Acute Care business units and associated planning needs of AdventHealthâ™s (AH) integrated health system. These efforts will be achieved in coordination with AH and Adventist Health System (AHS) strategic goals. The Director of Finance provides leadership and oversight for numerous Post-Acute business units and strategies, including: (Inpatient Rehabilitation, AH Home Care, AH Hospice of the Comforter, AH Home Infusion, AH Respiratory & Equipment.
The Finance Officer works closely with the Vice President for Population Health and Post-Acute Care to sustain performance for these business units and provide financial leadership for the various expansion and connectivity strategies across the Central Region of the Florida Division of AHS. Key strategic needs include development of operating objectives and targets to support the development of a Post-Acute Network of Care to support the discharge planning needs of AH patients, increase network integrity, ensure appropriate, cost-effective care, and prepare the health system for value based care models and the Clinically Integrated Network.
The Finance Officer has responsibility for all aspects of financial management for these areas, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, capital planning, revenue cycle, and payor contracting. The leader will effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of internal and external customers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
