This position works under very limited supervision. Work situations are varied and frequently non-routine. This position requires independent thinking, creativity, conceptual planning and development skills, decision-making, use of good judgment and discretion, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.Minimum Requirements:Direct experience in planning and implementing activity programs for participants in a group setting. . Experience with geriatrics and disabled adults preferred. Adult Day Health services experience preferred.Education/Licenses/Certifications:Associate Degree in recreational therapy or a related field plus two years of appropriate experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Or,Combination of additional specific recent relevant experience, certification or program completion may be considered in lieu of educationPossession of a valid CPR card. Licensed in the State of Washington as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) preferred.
