General Summary
Provides programmatic support in the development and timely execution of strategic projects and plans to support the mission, vision, and values of Washington Permanente Medical Group ("WPMG").
Strategy Consultant is responsible for partnering with the Director of Strategy in planning, documentation, monitoring and execution of the 5-year strategic plan and subsequent annual plans for the organization. This position requires a high degree of organization, flexibility, and communication skills. This position may also directly or indirectly consult with various teams and leaders on key strategic initiatives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Implements an effective and standardized process for strategic plan development and annual corporate incentive plans including WPMG annual business plans.
- Ongoing monitoring of WPMG strategic plan and execution of annual objectives and 5-year strategic goals.
- Research and communicate external healthcare and medical group trends in the local and national market with an eye toward implications and interpretation
- Ensures that the Senior Executive Team is continually informed and working on key strategic items; and maintains business cycle calendar.
- Work at direction of Sr. Director of Strategy on programs and initiatives as they arise, as a consultant helping navigate and direct a team and at times as a project lead.
- Maintains tracking and infrastructure in support of contract exceptions and documentation.
- Maintain and manage prospective workforce planning model, FTE requests and engagement with key leaders during the year. Works closely with business directors to support their operational needs with regards to prospective workforce planning.
- Staff support for Strategy Committee and Performance Committee (subcommittee of the WPMG Board of Directors)
- Help to create and maintain, quarterly WPMG Board of Directors checking system and tiered checking system within management.

Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Strategy Consultant to join our WPMG HQ team in Renton, Washington.
