Seeking BC Interventional & Structural Cardiologist for Excellent VA Staff Opportunity in Indianapolis, IN

Position Information

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLRVAMC) is actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff Interventional & Structural Cardiologist (BE considered) to help care for our Veterans – American’s Heroes.  Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSOM) and be involved with education and teaching of Cardiology fellows, medical residents, medical students, and occasionally other providers. The RLRVAMC is located in Indianapolis, IN and is the “Flagship” for the Indiana VA Health Care System - a Joint Commission accredited, referral level 1a/high complexity facility serving more than 62,000 Veterans in the rapidly expanding metropolitan Indianapolis area. RLRVAMC has been improving the health of the men and women in the Indianapolis Metro area who have so proudly served our nation.

This is a full-time VA position. We have a cardiac cath lab, recently renovated. CT surgery is performed on-site. STEMI services are offered 24/7. All full-time division faculty participate in general call, consult service attending and outpatient clinic services. Cardiology inpatients are on the hospitalist service.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, (May be required to work evenings or weekends as a 24/7 Full-Time Physician).

• U.S. Citizens receive preference – Non-U.S. Citizens may be considered
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered
