As a Central Sterile Supply Technician, you play a critical role in our mission to "Save and Heal Lives". The CSST is responsible for supply inventory in all of NED's offices, including Waltham, Westbrook, and Vernon, CT. The CSST's responsibilities include shipping and receiving, ordering/stocking clinical supplies, tracking inventory levels with barcode inventory management system (BTM) and the proper sterilization and documentation of instruments. 

Responsibilities:

• Shipping of tissue to processors
• Packing recovery packs for organ and tissue recovery
• Manage inventory and supplies for clinical cases
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers
• Monitor all clinical equipment (freezers, autoclave, washers, refrigerators) and documenting appropriately when required

Additional responsibilities include shelving and rotating stock, cleaning and sterilization of instrument kits as well as cleaning of the clinical areas per NEDS standards, and arranging for the disposal of all NEDS medical waste.
