Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) - a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group - has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a growing group in Nampa, Idaho.
The selected candidate will join an established, busy, four physician, one APP practice in delivering superb care in a collaborative environment. Enjoy a full-spectrum, general pediatric practice including wellness and same day sick visits, chronic disease management, school and sports physicals, acute illness & injuries, et al. Inpatient nursery/newborn care is available, if desired.
The provider will ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional work week, Monday - Friday, with a minimum of 34 patient contact hours per week. Call is 1:4, one week at a time.
The qualified candidate will exude passion about health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program
Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP), or ability to obtain within 3 years of employment
Current, unrestricted medical license in Idaho, or ability to obtain
Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho board of Pharmacy & DEA
