Full-time Financial Interviewer for Patient Services Department in Nemours SeniorCare (Wilmington, DE)

Nemours SeniorCare provides vision, hearing, and dental services at little to no cost for low-income Delaware residents, aged 65 and up. Established in 1981, thousands of Delaware seniors have been served and cared for in our program. Funding from The Nemours Foundation, through the Alfred I. du Pont Testamentary Trust, enables us to fulfill Mr. du Pont's concern that the elderly receive care in Delaware.

Many of our professional staff come from local Delaware community practices and are licensed or certified in Optometry, Ophthalmology or Dentistry. Each department is staffed by technicians and practitioners who are also licensed or certified in their specialties.

Enrollment in the program ensures patients have access to all services that Nemours SeniorCare has to offer. Patients must renew their membership each year by undergoing a financial interview where they provide proof of their income and residency.

This position is responsible for determining eligibility of applicants for enrollment into the Nemours SeniorCare program. In addition to enrollment and re-enrollment interviews, this position is also responsible for obtaining complete and accurate registration information, insurance verifications, as well as welcoming visitors, answering phones, and scheduling appointments for the department.

Requirements:

High School Diploma

3-6 months of job related experience.

Strong customer service skills needed.

Must be professional, respectful and kind.

Position requires basic computer skills and comfort with electronic medical records.
